One Room Many Dreamsby *zabani

Digital Art / Mixed Media / Surreal

Here is the latest assignment that I did for college.

This job was to mix traditional with digital form.

First I painted my old room at my father's house as a starter. From my own memory hehe.

Then I eventually added some elements by first sketching some branches and a tree o go along with it. And some characters that I had in one of my dreams. After scanning the few things, I added them on the painting with Photoshop CS3 and brushed them in multiple form. Did some transformation and whoalah!

Here is the results.

I had two weeks on it, and I used one week to paint the room first.

Time: 2 weeks.
Medium: Acrylic painting and Photoshop.

What is the meaning of it? :
Well it is mostly about what one kid can see in a partly dark room, right before one wakes up. This is some of what I have experienced. I could have added some living toys and a small random girl, but I had no time for that part unfortunately...

The character on the table is something I recently dreamed of. I was gonna going for a very bright, white figure in the right corner, but I wasn't so high and mighty on the program yet...
